Jeff Merrill worked for PAE/Nordhavn for fourteen years, from 1999 – 2014, and was a regular contributor to their website writing numerous articles. His marketing background from his previous marine industry jobs kept his creative spark active, and writing was an easy way for him to share experiences. Jeff’s articles covered a wide variety of interesting topics from the boat deliveries Jeff was a part of to a detailed 4-part recollection of the Great Siberian Sushi Run.
Jeff departed PAE in 2014 to create JMYS. He left behind an assortment of articles he composed for the www.Nordhavn.com website. As time went on and the Nordhavn website took on a different direction, Jeff’s name was removed from the articles he penned. Credit Jeff for keeping copies of everything he wrote (including his byline). This collection archives his writing contributions and it is fun to reminisce and see the progression of the Nordhavn brand through his eyes.
Many of the articles written are still relevant to this day as non-time-sensitive materials, and we would like the JMYS.com audience to enjoy them as well. For some of you, these might feel like a flash back recollection, for others a glimpse of Jeff as a Nordhavn broker.
No compensation was ever exchanged, Jeff didn’t write these articles for the money, but rather because he cared and wanted to share some of his experiences in the burgeoning Nordhavn world.
We hope you will enjoy this time capsule of contributions that were all done to promote the clients Jeff worked with and the Nordhavn brand.
